Joseph Karl Publishing Honored by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada

God Moments II:  Recognizing the Fruits of the Holy Spirit earns Catholic Publishing company its 25 award.

The next generation of Catholic publishers is working hard to serve you!

Joseph Karl Publishing extends its gratitude to the Catholic Press Association for recognizing God Moments II last night with a Third Place Award in the category of Book by a Small Publisher.

The book has also been selected by ST. PAULS Better Yourself Books for distribution in the Indian subcontinent, Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.  More about that later.

My thanks to friend and valued colleague Patrick Novecosky for sharing the news with us last night! I was overjoyed to have been in the company of Paul A. Ray, following our visit with Fr. Hardon, when we received Patrick's message, and to have received word from ST. PAULS while Paulus and I met to discuss his book, A New Voice for a Broken Soul.  Paul was a phenomenal collaborator on this book;  he gave the book its theme, organized the stories into chapters, wrote the introduction, and contributed a story.

Ponder anew, what the Almighty can do! +

My thanks to the many wonderful people whose loving and generous involvement, for the love of God, brought the book to fruition and made it so special: Nancy Carabio Belanger, Roseann Nieman, Erin Howarth, Belinda Bondi, Laura Bondi, Alyssa Bottesi, Andre Bottesi, Nick Bottesi, Rejeanne Buckley, Chris Capolino, Sharon Cecil, Maribeth Criscenti, Ellen Gable Hrkach, Gene X. Kortsha, Fr. Benjamin Kosnac, Janet MacKinnon, Tom Mulcahy, Susan Schoenstein, Sean McVeigh, Paul A. Ray, and Jerry Weber. God is at work in you! THANK YOU.

It is truly a miracle that so many lovely people who were already so busy with their own wonderful work gave of themselves so generously in imitation of Christ to create this book the Lord assigned to us. His immeasurable love manifests Itself through all of you, and resonates with beloved readers on every page. + Go, Team!!!

“Do whatever He tells you” (John 2:5). “You do that and you can expect miracles.” ~Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J.

Work continues on the next book in the series, God Moments III: True Love Leads To Life. My thanks to the wonderful people already mentioned who have contributed to this life-changing pro-life book as well, and to our newest loving collaborator, Fr. Ľudovít Luigi Gabriš. We just can't wait to present this one to precious, immortal souls. God is so in love with you!

All are lovingly invited to discover or rediscover the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic, and Pro-Life Church, and the majestic full expression of Christianity as established by its very Founder, Jesus Christ (not changed by man). God is so in love with you!!! +

"To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen." ~ Jude 1:25

Most sincerely and gratefully,
Michele Bondi Bottesi, Publisher

"Trust all things to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament,
and to Mary, Help of Christians,
and you will see what miracles are."

Third Place, Olivia's Gift
Nancy Carabio Belanger, Illustrations by Sandra Casali Lew Allen,
Harvey House Publishing, Rochester, Michigan.

"While it is a Catholic story by nature, this is a story of the human spirit and the fact teenagers and young adults are already experiencing their own profound stories of faith and God. It is a refreshing and realistic reprieve from what teenagers today are currently very distracted by - vampires. Olivia's story is the gift itself to young readers who may be in dire need of turning in a different direction other than popular fiction."

Second place
One Man's Journey to Freedom: Escape From Behind the Iron Curtain
By Gene X. Kortsha
Joseph Karl Publishing, Rochester, Michigan

"This searing account of one man's life threatening struggle for freedom addresses the horror and real history that exists in the lives of prisoners. Gene Kortsha describes in vivid detail his personal experience along with a vivid portrayal of the fear, horror, and intimidation involved. His portrayal of his inner life during this time and of the people that surrounded him is in a league by itself."
