See a pillar transformed into a pedestal, an execution rope into an alb's girdle (rope), a center isle into the Way of the Cross, a Beggar into a King, cowards into Cristeros, a Mother into a Queen, bread into God, wine into the most undeniable of our necessities (the Precious Blood of Christ), sinners into saints, and people considered by the world to be the most worthless, powerless, useless, and penniless into phenomenal channels of grace for the massive conversion of sinners.

Don't EVER just be Catholic; be PROFOUNDLY CATHOLIC!

There is so much more of God's love to discover and rediscover.

He is so in love with you!! + + +

"All Jesus Christ did, He did for us.

His prayers, His tears, His watchings, His fasting, His preaching,

His journeys, His conversations, His miracles-

all those were for us."

PROFOUNDLY CATHOLIC material to help inspire you to greatness for God's glory: discover or rediscover THE SACRAMENT OF CHRIST'S PRECIOUS BLOOD. God is at work in you!!

In the spirit of the Lord having so generously given us a wonderful new Papa this week as we enter the ERA OF PROFOUND CATHOLICISM, let us all add FRANCIS to our names and honor the Lord's request to REPAIR HIS HOUSE by first repairing our own houses (our own souls) and then contributing to the good of our parish families.

We must do that by living SACRAMENTAL LIVES of HEROIC VIRTUE, through obedient SERVICE to God and to others.

THE BEAUTIFUL WINDS OF OBEDIENT CHANGE ARE BLOWING, because God has heard the cries of His good, obedient, and humble people in the pews, and they are the ones He is using as extraordinary channels of His grace.

"Trust all things to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary, Help of Christians,

and you will see what miracles are."

 ~ Saint John Bosco

Don't Just Be Catholic; Be PROFOUNDLY Catholic! God is at work in you!

Don't keep all that profound Catholicism to yourself, either.

Be a powerful witness of Christ's love and mercy to a world in desperate need.

While praying to prepare your heart before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, ask St. John Bosco to bring the Infant Jesus to you and as he joyfully holds the Baby, caress His tiny little hands and feet!

Kiss the bottom of His tiny feet, press your lips softly against His sweet little head, and bestow upon your little King many precious kisses!

Jesus is so delighted when we love Him in return. +

To help you prepare your heart for Christ(mas), an AdvLent reflection.  That's right;  AdvLENT.

For heaven's sake, don't miss it!   http://godisatworkinyou.blogspot.com/2012/12/sweet-jesus-why-lenten-meditation.html "Sweet Jesus, Why the Lenten Meditation During Advent?"

New From Apostolate Films: Meditating on Christ's Passion and the Moment the Crown of Thorns was Removed from His Sacred Head

Don't just be Catholic;  be PROFOUNDLY Catholic!  God is so in love with you!

Six and a half minutes that could change your life forever:

The text version: Meditating on Our Savior's Crown of Thorns

The Very Timely Pro-Life Book 'God Moments III: True Love Leads To Life' Makes Its Way Toward Publication

The third book in the award winning God Moments series will head to print in two weeks as Apostolate Films works on a new short video focusing on our Savior's Crown of Thorns.

Four book cover prototypes for God Moments III: True Love Leads To Life arrived yesterday from award-winning graphic designer Roseann Nieman, and they are all very beautiful!

They will be printed this afternoon and after they are viewed in glorious full color, one will be chosen.

The copy edited manuscript will arrive soon (thank you, Nancy Carabio Belanger,  John-Paul Belanger, and Erin Howarth!), and in about two weeks this very timely pro-life book will head to print.

At right is a peek at the front cover; the full image was arranged by Father Ludovit Luigi Gabris, and photographed by Tim Fuller. +

Thank you all!!

Work also continues on three short videos in production at Apostolate Films.  The newest one emphasizes the importance of meditating on our Lord's Passion, and considers the moment when the Crown of Thorns was removed from Christ's Sacred Head.

More photographs will be taken for the newest video today at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan, U.S.A., where most of Joseph Karl Publishing and Apostolate Films images are acquired.

Thank you to the entire parish of Ss. Cyril and Methodius!  God is at work in you!
